THE BEST POSSIBLE QUALITY OF LIFE
— ACROSS THE BOARD
Most high-achieving men have professionals to talk to about anything work-related. But on the personal side, many feel quite alone. And there's often something that quietly — or not so quietly — costs them quality of life. Something they've learned to live with, because they haven't been able to solve it on their own.
If this sounds familiar, you've found the right person.
Is your career running well — but something on the personal side is eating away at your quality of life?
I help high-achieving men understand what their personal challenges are really about
— and, more importantly, get them resolved.
Your professional success shouldn't come at the expense
of the rest of your life. And it doesn't have to
WHAT'S EATING AWAY AT YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE?
A marriage that lacks intimacy
Patient all day at work, and short with the people at home
A grown-up child hard to connect with
Habits you know won't get you to eighty in good shape
Your own needs, always last
No one to explain what the doctor said, and what it means for you
Sometimes feeling like an imposter
A life that looks different from outside than it feels
Nowhere to say the worst of it or the best of it
… or several of these at once — or something else entirely?
Whatever it is, it doesn't get better by being left alone.
YOU'RE NOT JOINING ANYTHING
MESSAGES
Short or long — or simply a request for a meeting or a call.
In the first one, say a bit about what's going on, and I'll tell you what I make of it.
MEETINGS
One to two hours at your place, mine, or online — a little longer the first time.
Prepare or don't. We work out what's really going on, and what your options are.
NO RETAINER
We meet to carry on with something, or when something new comes up.
No schedule to keep — unless you'd rather have something regular.
JUST A PROFESSIONAL FOR THE PERSONAL SIDE, WHO KNOWS YOU A LITTLE BETTER EACH TIME
WHAT I BRING IS A RARE COMBINATION
I've lived it myself — and resolved it.
Multiple start-ups, investments and board seats, married for 38 years, three children, four grandchildren — and my full share of what life can throw at a man. Most of my life, I set the bar unreasonably high for myself, and for years my life looked better from outside than it felt from inside.
That's what sent me looking. I've studied Quality of Life from almost every angle: a doctoral background in health and disease, training in leadership, coaching and mediation, and more self-development gurus and courses than I care to admit.
Plus more than a decade working closely with men who've built something.
In practice, that combination means you won't have to explain the world you live in. And over the years, most of what comes up I've either been through myself or helped someone else through. So it doesn't have to take long before we both understand what's really going on and what your options are.
If something on the personal side isn't working the way it should — for you or someone you know — that's exactly what I help with.
You don't need to have it figured out first.
…I ALSO WROTE A BOOK
Thirty years of work and study led me to what I call THE ULTIMATE LIFE SKILL. If you were only ever going to get good at one thing, it would be that one — and almost none of us were ever taught it. I wrote it for the people I'll never get to sit down with.
